AGA and AGAr Changes to Liquidity Pool Rewards
We are making changes to how we calculate and distribute AGA Liquidity Pool Rewards
Here are the changes that we are implementing after January 15 2021:
- No more lock-up periods: You will no longer be required to “lock” or “hold” liquidity for a pre-determined amount of time. As long as you hold liquidity in one of our qualifying pools at the time when we take a snapshot your liquidity will be counted.
- Rewards calculated (and distributed) every two weeks: We will take a snapshot and calculate AGA Bonus Rewards every two weeks starting January 24, 2021. From then on, every two weeks, we will calculate (and distribute) AGA rewards sometime on the weekend (Friday to Monday). We will not publish an exact day and time to encourage holding!
- Rewards based on the percentage of the pool owned: We calculate AGA Bonus Rewards based on the percentage of pool you control. You can see your percentage here: https://app.uniswap.org/#/pool
- Reduced minimum for the AGA-AGAr and AGA-ETH pools: We are reducing the minimum amount of AGA required to earn Bonus Rewards in the AGA-AGAr and AGA-ETH pool from 2,500 to 888 AGA.
- We will no longer pay AGA Bonus Rewards on the AGA-USDT pool.
Qualifying Pools and Rates
AGA-AGAr Uniswap Pool (our most profitable pool)
For the first three months of 2021 we will pay 24% APR on the AGA in the AGA-AGAr pool. Every two weeks, starting January 24, 2021 we will calculate and distribute AGA rewards based on the percentage of AGA-AGAr pool you control.
AGA-ETH Uniswap Pool
For the first three months of 2021 you will earn 12% APR on the AGA in the AGA-ETH pool. Every two weeks, starting January 24, 2021 we will calculate and distribute AGA rewards based on the percentage of AGA-AGAr pool you control.

How will we calculate AGA rewards that we pay?
Lets use the AGA-AGAr pool as an example

ETH Fees
We expect ETH fees to increase substantially over the next three months. We will continue to calculate rewards every two weeks. As fees increase we may have to distribute earned rewards every 4, 8 or 12 weeks. We will update everyone if we make this change.
